# Type vs Find Fast

The clearest difference is rating: Find Fast at 4.8 against Type's 3.0. Find Fast also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Type's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Find Fast sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Type asks for nothing beyond the download.

Find Fast holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find Fast has 2.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Type's written reviews are positive against 67% of Find Fast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Type ships an update every 5 weeks, Find Fast fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
