# ToMemo vs MindNote

The clearest difference is rating: MindNote at 5.0 against ToMemo's 4.4. MindNote also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). ToMemo's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToMemo sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and MindNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ToMemo has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ToMemo ships an update every 5 days, MindNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
