# GoFTP Server vs FTPManager

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GoFTP Server at 76% against FTPManager's 25%. GoFTP Server also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (68 vs 6). FTPManager's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GoFTP Server holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoFTP Server has 68 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
