# Barcodes vs Kingfish

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kingfish at none against Barcodes's 3. Kingfish also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Barcodes's advantage is chart position (#152 vs unranked) and device support. On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barcodes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Kingfish asks for nothing beyond the download.
