# Sears vs Mobil App

The clearest difference is rating: Sears at 4.5 against Mobil App's 2.0. Sears also leads on ratings volume (758 vs 50) and review sentiment (17% vs 6%). Mobil App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sears holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sears has 758 ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of Sears's written reviews are positive against 6% of Mobil App's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
