# Run Road 3D vs Slice Masters

The clearest difference is rating: Slice Masters at 4.6 against Run Road 3D's 3.7. Slice Masters also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (27K vs 3). Run Road 3D's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 10%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Run Road 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slice Masters sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slice Masters holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slice Masters has 27K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Run Road 3D's written reviews are positive against 10% of Slice Masters's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Run Road 3D ships an update every 5 months, Slice Masters every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
