# First Fields vs Texas Values

The clearest difference is update cadence: First Fields at every 10 months against Texas Values's every 36 months. Texas Values's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for First Fields against 5.0 for Texas Values. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Texas Values has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

First Fields ships an update every 10 months, Texas Values every 36 months. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
