# Outfit Journal vs HDiary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Outfit Journal at every 10 days against HDiary's every 6 weeks. Outfit Journal also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outfit Journal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HDiary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Outfit Journal ships an update every 10 days, HDiary every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
