# ConfMan vs Opti VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: Opti VPN at every 3 weeks against ConfMan's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ConfMan sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Opti VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ConfMan ships an update every 2 months, Opti VPN every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
