# Notebook vs Serious Notebook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Notebook at none against Serious Notebook's 1. Notebook also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Serious Notebook's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Serious Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Notebook asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notebook ships an update every 11 months, Serious Notebook every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
