# Chowcom vs AAFES Eats

The clearest difference is rating: Chowcom at 5.0 against AAFES Eats's 2.2. Chowcom also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). AAFES Eats's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chowcom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AAFES Eats has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Chowcom ships an update fortnightly, AAFES Eats every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
