# NickWatch vs Bro

The clearest difference is rating: Bro at 3.7 against NickWatch's 2.4. Bro also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 60). NickWatch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. NickWatch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bro holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of NickWatch's written reviews are positive against 37% of Bro's.

NickWatch ships an update fortnightly, Bro every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
