# Random Wallpapers+ vs Wallpaper Generator

The clearest difference is rating: Wallpaper Generator at 5.0 against Random Wallpapers+'s 4.3. Random Wallpapers+'s advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random Wallpapers+ sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Wallpaper Generator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wallpaper Generator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random Wallpapers+ has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Random Wallpapers+ ships an update weekly, Wallpaper Generator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
