# PITATA vs Inverto Camera

PITATA and Inverto Camera both sit at 3.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of PITATA's written reviews are positive against 17% of Inverto Camera's. PITATA also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Inverto Camera holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of PITATA's written reviews are positive against 17% of Inverto Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PITATA ships an update every 2 weeks, Inverto Camera every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
