# Ninja Intermittent Fasting vs iFast

The clearest difference is rating: iFast at 4.7 against Ninja Intermittent Fasting's 4.0. iFast also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 12 months). Ninja Intermittent Fasting's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ninja Intermittent Fasting sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.00 per month. iFast asks for nothing beyond the download.

iFast holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFast has 23 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Ninja Intermittent Fasting's written reviews are positive against 86% of iFast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ninja Intermittent Fasting ships an update every 12 months, iFast every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
