# Ninja Intermittent Fasting vs 9toFast

The clearest difference is update cadence: 9toFast at fortnightly against Ninja Intermittent Fasting's every 12 months. Ninja Intermittent Fasting's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ninja Intermittent Fasting sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.00 per month and 9toFast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ninja Intermittent Fasting ships an update every 12 months, 9toFast fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
