# CC Chinese vs Oki

The clearest difference is rating: CC Chinese at 5.0 against Oki's 4.4. CC Chinese also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Oki's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CC Chinese sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Oki sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CC Chinese holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oki has 391 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of CC Chinese's written reviews are positive against 64% of Oki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CC Chinese ships an update every 4 weeks, Oki every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
