# MR.X vs Dukkan app

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dukkan app at every 3 weeks against MR.X's every 8 months. MR.X's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MR.X ships an update every 8 months, Dukkan app every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
