# PicText vs ThinOps Cypher

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ThinOps Cypher at none against PicText's 4. ThinOps Cypher also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). PicText's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicText sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. ThinOps Cypher asks for nothing beyond the download.

ThinOps Cypher holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicText has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
