# CheatVPN vs VPN Lite

The clearest difference is ads: CheatVPN at none against VPN Lite's shown. CheatVPN also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 28%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CheatVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and VPN Lite sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for CheatVPN against 4.5 for VPN Lite. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CheatVPN has 97 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of CheatVPN's written reviews are positive against 28% of VPN Lite's.

CheatVPN ships an update every 10 days, VPN Lite every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
