# Asterhythm vs RingLoop

The clearest difference is ads: Asterhythm at none against RingLoop's shown. Asterhythm also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Asterhythm sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and RingLoop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Asterhythm ships an update every 2 days, RingLoop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
