# Galactos vs Starshard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Starshard at every 3 weeks against Galactos's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Galactos sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Starshard sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Galactos ships an update every 2 months, Starshard every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
