# Saracen vs Tailwaters

The clearest difference is rating: Tailwaters at 5.0 against Saracen's 2.6. Tailwaters also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Saracen's advantage is ratings volume (302 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tailwaters holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Saracen has 302 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
