# USGA vs FLOG Golf

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: USGA at none against FLOG Golf's 1. USGA also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 1). FLOG Golf's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FLOG Golf sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.49 per month. USGA asks for nothing beyond the download.

FLOG Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USGA has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

USGA ships an update every 3 weeks, FLOG Golf weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
