# USGA vs fourth.

The clearest difference is ratings volume: USGA at 22K against fourth.'s 1. fourth.'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

fourth. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USGA has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

USGA ships an update every 3 weeks, fourth. every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
