# USGA vs Fore

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fore at 100% against USGA's 37%. Fore also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). USGA's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 19). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fore holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USGA has 22K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of USGA's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fore's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
