# Sorenson Forum vs Hearview

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hearview at 60% against Sorenson Forum's 0%. Sorenson Forum's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sorenson Forum sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and Hearview sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sorenson Forum holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 28 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Sorenson Forum's written reviews are positive against 60% of Hearview's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sorenson Forum ships an update fortnightly, Hearview every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
