# Adamans vs Hold Up Roll Up

The clearest difference is ads: Hold Up Roll Up at none against Adamans's shown. Hold Up Roll Up also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Adamans's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (519 vs 60). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hold Up Roll Up holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adamans has 519 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Adamans's written reviews are positive against 67% of Hold Up Roll Up's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Adamans ships an update monthly, Hold Up Roll Up every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
