# e vs Recifab

e and Recifab both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 97% of e's written reviews are positive against 50% of Recifab's. e also leads on ratings volume (144 vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Recifab sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Recifab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 144 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of e's written reviews are positive against 50% of Recifab's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

e ships an update every 9 days, Recifab fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
