# BMPRO Connect vs Links2

The clearest difference is update cadence: Links2 at every 2 months against BMPRO Connect's every 6 months. Links2 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BMPRO Connect ships an update every 6 months, Links2 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
