# Private VPN Proxy vs AdsPatron

The clearest difference is rating: Private VPN Proxy at 4.2 against AdsPatron's 3.4. Private VPN Proxy also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 52%) and chart position (#107 vs unranked). AdsPatron's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private VPN Proxy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and AdsPatron sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Private VPN Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private VPN Proxy has 1.2K ratings behind it against 156, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Private VPN Proxy's written reviews are positive against 52% of AdsPatron's.

Private VPN Proxy ships an update monthly, AdsPatron every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
