# Private VPN Proxy vs Files Hub

The clearest difference is rating: Private VPN Proxy at 4.2 against Files Hub's 2.5. Private VPN Proxy also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and chart position (#141 vs unranked). Files Hub's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private VPN Proxy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Files Hub sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Private VPN Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private VPN Proxy has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Private VPN Proxy ships an update monthly, Files Hub every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
