# Private VPN Proxy vs Onn Remote

The clearest difference is rating: Onn Remote at 4.7 against Private VPN Proxy's 4.2. Onn Remote also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Private VPN Proxy's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 14) and chart position (#97 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private VPN Proxy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Onn Remote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
