# Private VPN Proxy vs FlexCue

The clearest difference is rating: FlexCue at 5.0 against Private VPN Proxy's 4.1. FlexCue also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Private VPN Proxy's advantage is ratings volume (944 vs 2) and chart position (#109 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private VPN Proxy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and FlexCue sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlexCue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private VPN Proxy has 944 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Private VPN Proxy ships an update monthly, FlexCue every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
