# Swingtweaks vs PuttPro

The clearest difference is rating: Swingtweaks at 4.7 against PuttPro's 3.7. Swingtweaks also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 33%) and ratings volume (73 vs 12). PuttPro's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swingtweaks sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and PuttPro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swingtweaks holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swingtweaks has 73 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Swingtweaks's written reviews are positive against 33% of PuttPro's.

Swingtweaks ships an update every 3 weeks, PuttPro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
