# Chowit vs Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe

Chowit and Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe are too close to call on the numbers: across 10 compared parameters — price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chowit holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 48 and 49 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Chowit's written reviews are positive against 12% of Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chowit ships an update every 6 weeks, Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
