The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Truth Method at none against Cortisol Index's 1. Truth Method also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). Cortisol Index's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cortisol Index sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Truth Method asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Truth Method against 5.0 for Cortisol Index. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truth Method has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
