# Thrift Me! vs ThriftWise

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Thrift Me! at none against ThriftWise's 2. Thrift Me! also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). ThriftWise's advantage is ratings volume (373 vs 1) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThriftWise sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Thrift Me! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thrift Me! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ThriftWise has 373 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Thrift Me!'s written reviews are positive against 70% of ThriftWise's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
