# ER Companion vs Wind Protector Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: ER Companion at 4.7 against Wind Protector Mobile's 4.3. ER Companion also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 112) and review sentiment (72% vs 58%). Wind Protector Mobile's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ER Companion sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Wind Protector Mobile sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
