# APR vs HOKINET

The clearest difference is update cadence: APR at every 10 months against HOKINET's every 34 months. HOKINET's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

APR ships an update every 10 months, HOKINET every 34 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
