# Event Timers vs Decision Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Decision Timer at every 3 weeks against Event Timers's every 4 months. Event Timers's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Event Timers sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Decision Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Event Timers ships an update every 4 months, Decision Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
