# FRAMILES vs Told

The clearest difference is monetization model: Told at free against FRAMILES's paid. Told also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). FRAMILES's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FRAMILES holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Told has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

FRAMILES ships an update every 6 weeks, Told every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
