# Pure Plank vs Nēvo

The clearest difference is rating: Nēvo at 5.0 against Pure Plank's 2.0. Nēvo also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Pure Plank's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nēvo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pure Plank has 46 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
