# QHit vs MusicControl

The clearest difference is update cadence: MusicControl at every 2 days against QHit's every 2 weeks. QHit's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QHit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and MusicControl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QHit ships an update every 2 weeks, MusicControl every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
