# Forces vs Fishi

The clearest difference is monetization model: Forces at freemium against Fishi's subscription. Forces also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Fishi's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (593 vs 102). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forces sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and Fishi sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fishi holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishi has 593 ratings behind it against 102, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Forces's written reviews are positive against 56% of Fishi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Forces ships an update every 4 days, Fishi every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
