# Golf Statistics vs golfity

The clearest difference is ads: golfity at none against Golf Statistics's shown. golfity also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (114 vs 2). Golf Statistics's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf Statistics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and golfity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Statistics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: golfity has 114 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Golf Statistics ships an update every 4 weeks, golfity every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
