# Flying Cut vs Slice & Soar

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Flying Cut at 30K against Slice & Soar's 16. Flying Cut also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Slice & Soar's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flying Cut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slice & Soar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Flying Cut against 4.5 for Slice & Soar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flying Cut has 30K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.
