# Scentify vs Aromely

The clearest difference is rating: Aromely at 3.2 against Scentify's 2.9. Scentify's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 35%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aromely holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Scentify's written reviews are positive against 35% of Aromely's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scentify ships an update every 3 weeks, Aromely every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
