# Twist vs InkWalk

The clearest difference is update cadence: Twist at every 4 days against InkWalk's every 9 days. Twist also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twist sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and InkWalk sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Twist ships an update every 4 days, InkWalk every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
