# Bookmarks vs Words When It Counts

The clearest difference is rating: Words When It Counts at 5.0 against Bookmarks's 4.3. Bookmarks's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bookmarks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Words When It Counts sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Words When It Counts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bookmarks has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
